Production Pattern Maker

Bespoke Manufacturing Company (BMC) is looking to hire a full-time pattern drafter to work within BMC’s Development Department. To do well in this role you need to be detail-oriented and thorough. Experience in apparel pattern drafting, construction, and tech packs is a must. Experience in apparel manufacturing is a plus. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and open to working with a wide range of products.


Responsibilities

  • Creating block sloper patterns and testing them for fit.
  • Create patterns and mock-ups from preliminary sketches using sloper bases.
  • Creating tech packs and pattern cards.
  • Translating development patterns into first through production patterns ready for manufacturing.
  • Communicating with the Production Team to assist with sewing instructions.
  • Building grade rule tables and making sure patterns follow set fit guides.
  • Assist in organizing and keeping track of the pattern library.
  • Coordinating and running fittings.
  • Always maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues.
  • Additional technical duty responsibilities as required.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in pattern drafting and grading for womenswear.
  • Familiarity with Accumark/Gerber Pattern Drafting is required.
  • Ability to build, read, and understand tech packs.
  • Knowledge of fabric, apparel construction, and materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Ability to adapt to changes as our business model adjusts and grows.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a fashion-related field


Schedule

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday (7:00 am to 3:30pm)
  • Work Location: Phoenix (ONSITE)

Technical Designer

The Technical Designer role is a full-time position responsible for preparing various apparel and home goods products for manufacturing at Bespoke Manufacturing Company (BMC). To do well in this role, you need to be detail-oriented and thorough. Experience in apparel construction and manufacturing processes is a must.



Responsibilities

  • Reviewing client Smart Tech Packs (STPs) for accuracy and completion for a range of cut-and-sew apparel and home goods products.
  • Working with brands to develop products per their specifications
  • Building STPs, including technical flats and callouts for products BMC is developing
  • Onboarding existing patterns, altering or building new patterns for products in development using digital design programs such as Gerber.
  • Write sewing operations for new products based on factory setup and approved STPs
  • Build costs for new products based on established pricing structures.
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Maintain written reports and records for internal and external use related to technical specifications and information around clients and products in manufacturing.
  • Always maintaining a positive and professional attitude toward customers.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Additional technical duty responsibilities as required

Technical Designer / Client Onboarding

The Technical Designer/Client Onboarding role is a full-time position responsible for preparing various apparel and home goods products for manufacturing and supporting new clients with their onboarding needs at Bespoke Manufacturing Company (BMC). To do well in this role, you need to be customer focused, detail-oriented, and thorough. Experience in apparel construction and manufacturing processes is a must.


Responsibilities

  • Work with new and potential new clients to help them understand what is needed to onboard their products and designs with BMC.
  • Support and be the liaison with the Sales group with initial customer set up, contact information and details such as flash pricing, gathering pattern information, tech packs, sew bys, and manage project timelines, wait lists
